Sally Hansen (Insta-Dri) Wirlwind White

This is the 2nd time writing this post, the first one I tried uploading from my phone and it still says it is publishing and it won't let me click on the post or anything. I restarted my phone, closed the app refreshed the page and I checked on my Computer...nothing.

Anyways this might be a shorter post then the original but hopefully it is better...who will ever know...things like this DRIVE ME CRAZY!

I've decided to go through my polishes to inventory them for a few reasons:

1. To know what polishes I own
2. To sell polishes I don't care for
3. To make life easier for future reference. (how they apply, how they stamp etc.)

Sally Hansen (Insta-Dri) Whirlwind White is an amazing polish for stamping as most nail stampers will know.  You have to be quick though, the name speaks for itself...it dries fast.

The polish is very opaque and would be the perfect white base if it wasn't an absolute pain to get off of my cuticles. I tried everything and though the nail looked awesome, the frame was a HOT MESS! If anyone has tips for this polish, I would LOVE to know.

I am keeping this polish because it is the BEST stamping white thus far.

~ This is my polish and I made the decision to review it

The Ultimate Stamping Challenge-BM01

Right now I am working on a plan.  I intend to have a special theme every day of the week. I want it to be awesome and I have most of the ideas set in stone I just need to finalize things.  I will be doing a launch post with a list showing the topic of the day.  I will be incorporating past ideas into this new venture to insure that each of my ideas will be featured once a week. I will have other posts as well thrown in the mix but I will be consistent with the themed days.

I will be having a giveaway when I reach 250 followers. I am about to launch my own indie polish.
When I reach 250 I will be doing a draw in which the winner gets to create a polish that I will make and send them.  That polish will be named whatever the winner wishes and the formula and name will be carried on when I start selling polishes. It will also be one of my launch polishes!
I have received amazing feedback on the polishes I have created so far, I hope that is a sign you all will love my creations!!!

Onto my NOTD and a sneak peek into a new feature that will be on my blog. I will warn you though, we just moved into a new place...again and my camera is on the top shelf of the closet and being 5ft2in I cannot reach it so unfortunately these are cell phone pictures.

I posted this on the Facebook Group -Adventures in Stamping and thought I would share a new feature to my blog on what better MY BLOG! (Caffeine..it makes things so much more exciting)

"So I have set myself a challenge. I seem to be lacking in creativity so I have made a commitment I have to stick to, and I will have to think outside of the box. I intend to go in order of all my stamping plates that I have organized in my binder and use every single image on every single plate from the front of the book to the back.  If I land on a Christmas image in March well then I just have to find a way to make it work!. I can incorporate other plates designs elements etc, and still participate in challenges but I will do this and I will be blogging about it. The good the bad and the ugly. I am excited to start!"
How I achieved this look (Supplies listed below)
  • Base Coat OPI Nail Envy
  • 2 coats of City Color Masquerade (Thanks Amanda for this beautiful purple Polish!)
  • 2 coats of Klean Color Chunky Holo Purple
  • Stamped Both images from BM01 (2 images in one! images used are circled below)
  • Stamped with Essie No Place like Chrome
  • Added silver stars on the thumbs
  • Applied Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Top Coat (better then SV IMHO)

China Glaze Magnetix Attraction VS Sally Hansen New Lengths #49

Previously I mentioned that I was going to go through my nail polish in order that I have swatched them:

Clipping from my previous post;

"Previously I have swatched all my nail polishes with no organization. Brands,Colors finishes etc, for the most part are scattered throughout the 20+ wheels I have. I want to prove to my Husband that I use all of my polishes so I will be comparing two polishes that can be similar or polar opposites whichever two are next on the wheel are against each other as I work my way through my polishes so you or I  will never know what is next.  And no matter how much I hate the polish or don't think the polishes go together I will not cheat!

Sounds kinda fun right? This will determine the bad from the good as well and polishes I will use for frankening, put up in a future blog sale/swap etc. If you decide to do this please let me know! I think it will be fun!

 China Glaze Magnetix - Attraction.

It took me a couple of times to figure out the proper way to make the magnet work and I still am not that great.  I like this polish even without the magnetic effect.  The formula is awesome in my opinion and if I am using the magnet I use 1 coat but if I am not I use 2 as I normally do with all nail polishes for good measure.  I got this polish with the magnet at Sally's Beauty Supply.  It was actually my first time there.

Sally Hansen New Lengths - #49

I can't find a name for this polish or any information for that matter.  I also have no idea where I got it.  It is a very sheer satiny finish purple with micro glitter of the same color which does nothing for the polish to accent it so it is kind of pointless.  I hated this polish so much, probably because it is so old and with it being have empty I decided to remove it from my collection.  One night my room mate and I were hanging out and she frankened her first polish using this as a base which I will post later.

Top flash off - Bottom flash on

Total Knockout!!!
